Global Grace Children

In Andhra Pradesh, India, Global Grace provides a home for 230 children who would otherwise be living on the street. The children, who are mostly orphans, live in nine homes where we give them food, clothing, medical care, education, community and belonging.

For just $20/month, you can help change a child’s life.

Women of Grace

In 2018 we opened a home for widows in Chinnayyapalem, India.  Sadly, these women had been mistreated and left to beg on the streets.  We currently house 20 beautiful women, attending to all of their needs, particularly health care, and providing a community that adds security and joy to their lives.

Your donation of $33 a month will support one woman.

Sewing Institute

In Visakhapatanam, India, we aim to empower women who have minimal economic opportunity.

Our sewing school opened in 2018 with the mission of providing a path to financial independence through vocational training.

Students are offered a 6-month course and upon graduation are equipped with their own sewing machine so they can start a business.

$90 teaches one woman and $190 provides her with a sewing machine.

College First

In 2022, we launched College First to give the children in our homes the opportunity to go to college.

Education is often the only path out of poverty and causes a ripple effect for generations.

Economically vulnerable young women can face strong pressure to marry, sometimes trapping them in difficult situations. An education dramatically improves their opportunities and gives them autonomy over their future.

Other Ways We Have

Made An Impact

landing background 1

West Africa

Burkina Faso and Niger are two of the world’s poorest countries. Global Grace has distributed emergency food relief, mosquito nets, water filters, and children’s vitamins to rural villages. Additionally, we have supported infrastructure development by renovating a school and providing solar power and a grain mill.

Leper Home

Though cured, those affected by leprosy have ongoing medical issues and continue to face discrimination. Their limited access to public spaces makes them vulnerable. Global Grace has distributed food and clothing to this community in Kakinada, India.

Children’s Home Rebuild

We tore down and completely rebuilt our children’s home in Jagannaickpur, India, in order to provide a safe building that can withstand the monsoon rains and provide a nurturing environment for the children.

COVID-19 Relief

The pandemic was extremely challenging for many of the families we are connected to in India. They typically survive day to day on very low wages, but sickness and economic shutdowns caused immediate and extended food crises. We distributed 120,000 pounds of food, sustaining more than 10,000 people with rice, lentils, oil, vegetables, flour, sugar, and eggs.

Anitha

Anitha was born with a congenital heart defect that was not corrected because her parents could not afford the treatment. At age 9 and living in a Global Grace Children’s Home because her parents were killed in an accident, Anitha needed emergency open heart surgery. We were able to secure the life-saving procedure for her and she has made a full recovery.
